André joined Hall County 911 in July 2016 as a Communications Officer Trainee and was promoted into the 911 Center Systems Administrator position in July 2017. In this position, André is overall responsible for the maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting of the 911 Dispatch center's CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) system, computers and network to ensure proper operations and maximum uptime. Andre' is also responsible for the Mobile Dispatch Terminals (MDT), these are the laptops that are in the law enforcement and fire vehicles. He installs, maintains, troubleshoots and trains personnel on MDT system operation for the following agencies: Hall County Fire Dept, Hall County Sheriff's Dept, Gainesville Fire Dept, Gainesville Police Dept, Oakwood Police Dept and Flowery Branch Police Dept.

André is retired from the United States Navy Submarine Force and currently serves as the Jr. Vice Commander of the American Legion Post 7 in Gainesville, GA.

André is a graduate of Gainesville High School. He has a BS in Computer Science from Fort Valley State University, a BSED in Technical Education from Valdosta State University and a Masters Degree in Computer Information Systems from Webster University.

André is married to André Cheek-Castleberry and they have two sons: Marcquel and Jeremiah.
