Larry Baldwin earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Florida State University and his law degree from the Emory University School of Law. Following three years of private practice, he accepted the position of Assistant Solicitor for Hall County in 1998 and was appointed Chief Assistant Solicitor the following year. In 2004 Larry was elected as Hall County’s Solicitor-General for State Court and was appointed State Court Judge in 2008. He has been re-elected to the State Court Bench in 2010 and 2014.
Larry was selected as the Gainesville Jaycees’ 2008 Young Man of the Year. He is a past President and current Board Member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hall County and the Gateway Domestic Violence Center. He is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Northeastern Circuit Bar Association and the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville. Larry and his wife, Elisabeth, reside in Murrayville with their two daughters and attend Gainesville First Baptist Church.
