Elected in November 2012 to his first term as District 4 Commissioner, Jeff Stowe is a 1985 graduate of Gainesville High School and a 1989 graduate of Western Carolina University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Corporate Finance.
Commissioner Stowe has spent decades serving the community through a number of organizations, including leadership positions with the Gainesville Jaycees, United Way of Hall County, the American Red Cross, American Heart Walk, and the Gainesville Athletic Board, as well as Leadership Hall County, Boys and Girls Clubs of Hall County, the Gainesville Elks Lodge, and the Gainesville Kiwanis Club.
Jeff's commitment to service also includes organizing and participating in fundraising events for the Boy Scouts of America, Brenau University, Challenged Child and Friends, Gainesville Parks and Recreation, and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, among other local agencies.
Commissioner Stowe is married to Jennifer Hudgins Stowe and has four children, Katie Jennings; Taylor Stowe; Ally Roberts; and Bo Roberts. They are members of Gainesville First United Methodist Church.
