1. What constitutes an illegal dump?

An illegal dump is a large or amassed amount of garbage illegal deposited in the roadway. Often times this is household goods, trash bags, etc.

2. If I spot litter which doesn't constitute an illegal dump who can assist me?

3. Will you pick up dead animals?

Yes. Hall County Landfill will retrieve dead animals that are reported to us. However, we can only retrieve dead animals that are in the right of way on County maintained roads.

4. If I have a deceased animal that is on my property can Hall County Solid Waste retrieve it?

No, due to liability reasons Hall County Solid Waste is not allowed to retrieve dead animals that are not in a County maintained right of way. However, Hall County Landfill will allow you to dump an deceased animal that you have removed from your property at not charge.
