Before employment with Hall County in July 2012, Bill worked as the Human Resources Manager for RedPrairie, a 1,200-employee global software company based in Alpharetta, where he worked for just under 12 years. Prior to joining RedPrairie, Bill was the Director of Human Resources at Northside Hospital.
Bill grew up in Orlando, Florida, graduating from Bishop Moore High School, and went on to Florida State University, where he graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management.
Bill is a resident of Forsyth County where he has lived since 1993. Bill has 2 children, a senior at the University of Georgia, and senior at West Forsyth High School. Bill is very active in the baseball community where he is one of four league directors for Lanier Baseball; President of the Sawnee Mountain Park Baseball / Softball organization, Treasurer for the West Forsyth High School Dugout Club and is the Tournament Director for the Forsyth County Slugfest Baseball Tournament which over the years has had more than 275 teams participate, and has donated over $175,000 to local organizations and charities.
