A home in South Hall is still standing and nobody was hurt thanks to the quick efforts and timely response of Hall County Fire Services.
On the night of April 22, 2021, Linda and Ron Silber were sitting in their home on Garrett Road watching television and enjoying a cozy fire in their fireplace – that is, until Linda Silber noticed a noise.
A fire had erupted in their chimney. What happened next was a story of quick thinking, professionalism and a heart for service that permeates Hall County Fire Services, and ultimately saved the Silbers’ home.
