This is a reminder that Hall County's administrative offices, courts, libraries, animal shelter and community centers will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 for the Christmas holidays, as well as Jan. 1 for the New Year's holiday.
The landfill will be closed Thursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25 and will reopen Saturday, Dec. 26. It will close again Friday, Jan. 1 and reopen Saturday, Jan. 2. Meanwhile, the Hall County Recycling Center will be closed Dec. 24- Dec. 25 and Friday, Jan. 1. Hall County compactor sites will close on Christmas Day only.
Hall County library branches, animal shelter and community centers will remain closed Saturday, Dec. 26 as well.
In addition, Hall County community centers will close at 5 p.m. on Dec. 31; however, North Hall Community Center and East Hall Community Center will remain open for early voting until 6 p.m. as previously advertised. Hall County libraries will be closed all day on Dec. 31 except for the purposes of early voting between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Spout Springs Library.
Essential public safety and public works personnel will continue service as usual during the holidays. Many county services are always available online: residents can renew a vehicle tag, find a new pet, pay taxes, and more at hallcounty.org.
