For the 28th consecutive year, Hall County Financial Services has received the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2019.
The designation is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting.
“This award is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of the employees in Hall County Financial Services, who continue to go above and beyond for the citizens of Hall County,” said Dena Bosten, Hall County Financial Services Director (pictured).
The comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) was judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the CAFR.
