Hall County Parks & Leisure is launching a new adult softball league that caters to all players.
Team registration is open until July 12 for co-ed teams, men's open and church leagues.
Games will be played once per week at Laurel Park, located at 3100 Old Cleveland Highway in North Hall, beginning August 12; there will be options to play Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings.
"Softball is a popular sport in the area, and it serves as a great way to stay active, build community and, most importantly, have a little fun during the busy work week," said Wayne Briscoe, Athletics Supervisor for Hall County Parks & Leisure.
"Whether you're regularly bashing homeruns into Lake Lanier, or it's the first time you've ever picked up a bat, we have spots for anyone who wants to play."
Anyone looking for more information, or teams looking to register, can contact Briscoe via email at WBriscoe@HallCounty.org or by phone at (770) 503-3148.
