Some South Hall voters will see a change in their voting precinct this election cycle.
Voters in the Roberts Voting Precinct who formerly cast their ballots at Cross Pointe Lanier Church, located at 6302 Lanier Islands Parkway, will now vote at Mount Salem Baptist Church, located at 6152 Mt. Salem Circle in Flowery Branch.
Hall County Elections Director Lori Wurtz said the precinct change is a result of Cross Pointe Lanier Church’s closure.
“When I spoke with the senior pastor for Cross Pointe Church’s main campus in Duluth, he said the South Hall location could reopen by the end of the summer; however, we will use Mount Salem Baptist Church as the Roberts precinct for the duration of the 2018 voting cycle to avoid any confusion,” she said.
As a reminder, upcoming election dates are as follows:
May 22: General Primary Election
July 24: Run-off (if needed)
Nov. 6: General Election
Dec. 4: Run-off (if needed)
