Hall County District 4 Commissioner Jeff Stowe is hosting a community meeting on Monday, April 9 to garner input from residents as to what type of amenities they would like to see in their next park.
“This is an opportunity for citizens to hear about the project, its timeline and its budget,” District 4 Commissioner Jeff Stowe said. “It’s also an opportunity for me and County staff to hear from residents about which components of a park are most important to them.”
The proposed location for the new park is next door to the Hall County Health Department on Athens Street.
The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Fair Street Community Center, located at 715 Fair Street in Gainesville. For those who are unable to attend Monday’s meeting, an online survey will be available following the meeting at www.hallcounty.org to solicit input on the park’s features.
