This is a reminder that Hall County's administrative offices, courts and community centers will be closed Dec. 22 through Dec. 25 for the Christmas holidays, as well as Jan. 1 for the New Year's holiday.
The landfill will be closed Saturday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Dec. 25 and will reopen Tuesday, Dec. 26. It will close again Monday, Jan. 1 and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 2. Meanwhile, the Hall County Recycling Center will be closed Dec. 22- Dec. 25 and Monday, Jan. 1. Hall County compactor sites will close on Christmas Day only.
Essential public safety and public works personnel will continue service as usual during the holidays. Many county services are always available online: residents can renew a vehicle tag, find a new pet, pay taxes, and more at hallcounty.org.
