All three of the County's community centers, Mulberry Creek Community Center, East Hall Community Center and North Hall Community Center, will reopen Thursday for normal operations after being closed since Monday afternoon in the wake of Tropical Storm Irma.
River Forks Park will remain closed until Sept. 22 due to a significant power outages and numerous fallen trees and debris. Laurel Park will also remain closed until further notice due to downed power lines, which pose a risk to citizen safety. In addition, visitors at Cherokee Bluffs Park in south Hall County are advised to avoid the park's walking trails as downed trees are causing several blockages and have done damage to the trail's foot bridges.
The North Hall Technology Center will reopen for normal business hours Thursday, as will the library branch in Murrayville.
As a reminder, Hall County's Emergency Operations Call Center remains open for citizens to report non-emergency issues such as downed trees or power lines (770-718-3300). Anyone seeking immediate emergency assistance is encouraged to dial 911.
