Most Hall County Government facilities will reopen for normal business hours Wednesday, Sept. 13 following their closure Tuesday in the wake of significant power outages that resulted from Tropical Storm Irma moving through the area.
All three of the County's community centers, Mulberry Creek Community Center, East Hall Community Center and North Hall Community Center, will remain closed. Laurel Park and River Forks Park will also remain closed due to power outages and storm damage.
The North Hall and Murrayville branches of the Hall County Library System will also remain closed Wednesday until further notice.
"I would like to reiterate our gratitude to the Hall County employees who have spent countless hours responding to storm-related issues across our community, ensuring the safety of our citizens and the roadways they utilize," said Interim Hall County Administrator Jock Connell.
Hall County's Emergency Operations Call Center remains open for citizens to report non-emergency issues such as downed trees or power lines (770-718-3300). As always, anyone seeking immediate emergency assistance is encouraged to dial 911.
