A portion of White Sulphur Road has reopened after being closed for the installation of sewer pipes.
The roadway, which was closed between Gateway Centre Parkway and Cagle Road, reopened Friday afternoon.
“We would like to thank the residents and businesses in the area of White Sulphur Road, who were incredibly patient with the contractors as they completed this work in the area,” said Ken Rearden, director of Hall County Public Works.
The extension of sewer service along White Sulphur Road is part of a larger project to expand sewer service to customers along the Ga. 365 corridor. That effort is being funded by Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST).
