Motorists may experience some delays on Spout Springs Road next week as contractors conduct soil test borings in the area as part of the highly-anticipated road widening project.
The tests are scheduled for Wednesday, June 7 in the area between Hog Mountain Road and Castlegate Drive as well as the area between Capitola Farm Road and Lake Sterling Boulevard. The work is set to occur between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. as to not disrupt rush hour traffic. If necessary, work may continue the following day during that same time frame and will be rescheduled for the following week if inclement weather impacts the work.
Flaggers will be in the area directing traffic around any lane closures. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area.
Anyone requesting additional information is asked to contact Hall County Public Works at 770-531-6800.
