The public is invited to attend a workshop to share ideas on the future land use for Hall County. This is the next step in the Hall County Comprehensive Land Use Plan update.
In this workshop, citizens will:
Learn about the information gathered in previous meetings with Hall County stakeholders
Help develop scenarios for the future of the County
Interact with County staff and planners at maps to identity land use strategies
See the results of the community survey
Citizen input will be used to help prioritize local needs and opportunities, identify areas in the county that are likely to support change or should remain unchanged, and establish policies for future development in the county.
The workshop will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25 in the Commission Meeting Room at the Hall County Government Center, located at 2875 Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville. Citizens are encouraged to drop by anytime between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
