This is a reminder that Hall County’s administrative offices, courts, community centers, animal shelter, recycling center, landfill and libraries, as well as the Hall County Government Family Health Center and UGA Extension Office, will be closed Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
Hall County compactor sites, as well as essential public safety and public works personnel, will continue services as normal during the federal holiday.
As always, many County services are available at any time online at hallcounty.org. These services include but are not limited to: renewing a vehicle tag, paying taxes and finding a new pet.
American Legion Post 7 will host its annual fireworks display Tuesday, July 4 at Laurel Park, located at 3100 Old Cleveland Hwy Gainesville, GA 30506. The fireworks display will begin at dusk; however, park gates will open at 9 a.m. at a $10 admission fee per vehicle. Festivities will include activities for children, the Splash Pad, food trucks and music by a live DJ.
Please keep in mind that personal fireworks are prohibited at all Hall County Parks.
