Gov. Brian Kemp recently announced the appointment of Kelley Robertson as a Hall County State Court judge.
Robertson, who currently serves as Chief District Attorney in the Northeastern Judicial Circuit, fills a vacancy left by Judge B.E. Roberts, III, who retired on Feb. 1.
Robertson previously served as an Assistant District Attorney and a Staff Attorney under Judge Kathlene F. Gosselin. She received a B.A. in sociology from Emory University and her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law.
Judge Robertson is active in her community, where she serves on the boards for the Gateway Domestic Violence Center, Rape Response and the Georgia Mountain Food Bank and as a volunteer instructor and faculty member of the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia.
Robertson and her family live in Gainesville.
