Hall County will be hosting a public meeting for the Chicopee Village community regarding sidewalk repairs and tree removals on Monday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. at the Elachee Nature Science Center.
“Chicopee Village is a valued historic community in Hall County, and we want to treat Chicopee and its residents with respect as we look towards improving the safety of this local landmark,” said District 4 Commissioner Jeff Stowe.
The meeting will give residents an opportunity to hear an overview of the anticipated repairs and why the work is needed, as well as discuss the changes they can expect to see, including ADA-accessible sidewalks and dangerous tree removal.
“We want to ensure the citizens of Hall County have the opportunity to be well informed and have their questions answered about projects in their communities,” said Stowe.
The meeting will begin promptly at 6 p.m. and end at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, at Elachee Nature Science Center, located 2125 Elachee Drive in Gainesville. Parking for the meeting will be free.
