Continuing renovations at the Hall County Government Center will soon include the installation of a new HVAC system on the first floor. Starting Monday, Oct. 24, the Hall County Tax Commissioner’s Office, located on the first floor of the Hall County Government Center, will be closed to the public on Mondays only through the end of the year but will operate normally Tuesdays through Fridays.
Additionally, the Hall County Tax Assessor’s Office will be temporarily moved to the lower level beginning Oct. 14.
Renovations of the third floor have been completed, and the following divisions are scheduled to move back to their regular offices on the third floor during the week of Oct. 10-14:
- Building Inspections
- Business License
- Engineering
- Environmental Health
- Marshal’s Office
- Planning & Development
- Public Works
- GIS and Construction Management
There will be signs posted around the Hall County Government Center reminding visitors of these changes, and staff will be available to assist in directing visitors to the appropriate departments.
