Hall County Government has hired Sarah Crowe as the organization’s new Public Information Officer.
“Sarah brings a wealth of experience to our Communications team,” Hall County Administrator Jock Connell said. “I look forward to working alongside her as we continue to move forward as both an organization and as a community, providing the highest level of service possible.”
Crowe most recently served as Career Services and Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership Coordinator with Lanier Technical College. Prior to that, she served as an Advisor for the University of North Georgia and as Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator with the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia.
“Over the past few years, I have developed a passion for communicating to students and to local industry. I look forward to utilizing those same skills in this new role,” said Crowe.
Crowe fills the role vacated by Katie Crumley, who began serving as Hall County’s Communications and Strategic Engagement Manager on July 1.
Crowe graduated summa cum laude from University of North Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Organizational Leadership.
Crowe is a United States Air Force Veteran and received the “Distinguished Female Leader” award in 2017 by Women of UNG. She lives with her husband and three children in Cleveland, Ga.
Crowe’s first day with Hall County was Sept. 26.
