Hall County has closed its robust Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
As of May 2022 Hall County has delivered approximately $14.1 million in rental and utility assistance to more than 3,600 applicants as part of the program, which provided assistance to those affected financially by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program launched April 2021 with funding provided by the American Rescue Plan Act.
Applicants in need of rental or utility assistance will now be directed to the State of Georgia’s rental assistance program to ensure they can still receive assistance if needed.
Now that the Hall County portal is closed, pending applications in the portal from landlords and tenants will still be processed.
