Assemble a first aid kit for your home and 1 for each car.
- 1 roll of 3 inch cohesive bandage
- 3 inch by 3 inch sterile gauze pads
- 4 inch by 4 inch sterile gauze pads
- 5 inch by 9 inch sterile dressings
- Adhesive bandages, various sizes (20)
- Adhesive tape, 2" width
- Anti-bacterial ointment
- Antiseptic wipes
- Cold pack
- Conforming roller gauze bandage
- CPR breathing barrier, such as a face shield
- Germicidal hand wipes or waterless, alcohol-based hand sanitizer
- Pair large medical grade non-latex gloves
- Scissors (small, personal)
- Triangular bandages
- Tweezers
Non-Prescription Drugs
Your firs aid kit should possess some of the most basic non-prescription drugs.
- Aspirin or non-aspirin pain reliever
- Anti-diarrhea medication
- Antacid (for stomach upset)
- Syrup of Ipecac (use to induce vomiting if advised by the Poison Control Center)
- Laxative
- Activated charcoal (use if advised by the Poison Control Center)
