Engineering Division

On Jan. 6, 2021, Hall County Government moved to appointment-only operations in light of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases. While telephone and email operations are still operating as normal, in-person meetings and business may be conducted by appointment only. To schedule an appointment with Public Works and Utilities, please call 770-531-6800. Please note that only one person may attend an in-person meeting. Masks are available for citizens in each department upon request.

The function of this division is to provide engineering services for public works projects including:

  • Bridges
  • Related construction supervision for county facilities
  • Road right-of-way acquisitions
  • Roads
  • Stormwater management
  • Utilities
  • Watershed protection

Stormwater Hotline

Hall County has a Stormwater Hotline for our citizens to use in order to report problems with stormwater runoff. That number is 770-533-7420. Please leave your name, phone number and description of the problem. Personnel from the Hall County Engineering department will contact you to address and correct the problem.
