Due to the current outbreak of COVID-19, the Hall County Animal Shelter (HCAS) will be closed to the public through Monday, April 13th in an effort to protect the health and wellness of our community, staff, and volunteers.
HCAS staff will continue to report to the shelter to ensure the care of our animals remains uninterrupted.
There will be no adoptions at our Gainesville facility during this time. Those who are interested in adopting an animal from HCAS may still complete the online Adoption Application. The online applications will be stored and reviewed once we have re-opened to the public.
HCAS currently has cats available for adoption at the Adoption Center inside the PetSmart in Flowery Branch, GA. Cats at this facility may be adopted as normal. Store hours are Monday – Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Cash payments only.
