Nine (9) Hall Area Transit vans currently serve the outlying areas of Hall County, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Dial-a-Ride vans are a shared-ride service, meaning that several people may be on-board the vehicle and in route to their destinations along with you. We may make several stops to pick up and drop off others before we reach your destination. You must make a request for van transportation at least 48 hours in advance by calling 770-503-3333 during the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The cost for this service is based on trip length (see the fare chart in the next section). Don't forget to arrange your return trip at the same time you request a pick up reservation. If you don't schedule a return trip, we can't guarantee you'll be picked up in a timely manner or that we'll be able to transport you. We offer a subscription service for individuals requesting a ride on a regular basis.

Children 10 years of age and younger, when accompanied by a guardian, can ride for FREE.
All passengers are required to pay their fare when boarding. The Dial-a-Ride Van Operators do not carry money or make change. If the Van Operator is asked to make change, he/she will go to the closest place of business for the passenger to get change and then the passenger will be charged $1.00 for the extra stop.
Our Dial-a-Ride vans offer curb-to-curb service. The driver will assist individuals in safely boarding and exiting from the vehicles. Individuals with mobility impairments who need special assistance in navigating to and from the vehicle should have a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) ride with them. PCAs may ride for free. Mobility Plus service is also available. Please call 770-503-3333 for an application.
In all cases, children under the age of 3 must ride with a guardian. All riders must remain seated and use the seat belts.
Eating, smoking and open drink containers are not allowed on the Dial-a-Ride buses. Bottled, lidded water containers may be carried.
During inclement weather, the Dial-a-Ride Vans may not be able to stay on their regular schedules. Please call 770-503-3333 for more information.
