On May 2, 2012, Agents with the Gainesville-Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS) and Officers with the Gainesville Police Department arrested one individual during the course of a drug investigation.
Agents arrested Ayrian Gwin, 20, of Gainesville, after he delivered a quantity of MDMA tablets to a pre-determined location in the 800 block of Dawsonville Highway.
Mr. Gwin was arrested following a brief foot pursuit and was taken into custody without further incident.
Mr. Gwin was booked into the Hall County Jail, charged with Possession of MDMA with Intent to Distribute, Use of a Communications Device to Facilitate a Drug Transaction, Abandonment of a Controlled Substance, and Obstruction (misdemeanor).
