On March 2, 2012, Agents with the Gainesville-Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS) and the Hall County Sheriff's Office uniformed patrol division arrested 20 year-old Orlando Paradise, of Gainesville, during the course of a drug investigation.
A search warrant was executed at Mr. Paradise's home, located at 2334 Broadway Place, in Gainesville. During the course of the search, Agents seized approximately ¼ pound of marijuana which was packaged in twenty-nine separate baggies. Agents also seized additional packaging materials, electronic scales, and a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol.
Mr. Paradise was arrested without incident and booked into the Hall County Jail, charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
