The Hall County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard serves as the ceremonial unit of the department. Comprised of Deputies who volunteer from all divisions, the Honor Guard conducts a number of public functions such as funeral services for fallen or retired law enforcement officers, parades, and other community events. In addition to the rifle squad, flag detail, and mounted detail, the honor guard includes two buglers and two bagpipers. Finally, as a special service to honor all of Hall County's and America's veterans, on Memorial Day the honor guard stands a 24 hour ceremonial vigil and conducts a formal flag retirement ceremony at the veterans section of Memorial Park Cemetery.
