Welcome to the Hall County Sheriff's Office website. Hall County, Georgia is located on the northeastern outskirts of Metro Atlanta and is a rapidly growing community. As the county's primary law enforcement agency, we provide full law enforcement services to a population of more than 184,000 citizens living across 394 square miles.

Presently the 6th largest Sheriff's Office in the state of Georgia, we operate with an authorized strength of more than 400 officers, performing duties that include uniform patrol, criminal investigations, narcotics and gang investigations, jail operations, courthouse security, and civil process.

The demands on the agency are great and ever changing, but the men and women of the Hall County Sheriff's Office rise to those challenges daily through extraordinary dedication to the community they proudly serve.

We, the members of the Hall County Sheriff's Office, are committed to providing the highest quality of law enforcement services by empowering our members and the community to work in partnership as a team with the goal of improving the quality of life within Hall County, while at the same time maintaining respect for individual rights and human dignity.

An Annual Report of complaints received, investigated and their final disposition is available to the public and all agency employees by request through the Internal Affairs Office or Professional Standards Office.
