Hall County Parks and Leisure Service’s maintenance division works year round providing upkeep, completing special projects and renovations to 22 parks and over 1,000 acres of park space. The maintenance division goal is to save tax dollars regularly by building, repairing, and renovating, bathrooms, pavilions, tennis courts, camp sites, walking trails, and volleyball courts. Additional special projects include the development of a two-acre dog park, bridges in greenspace parks to protect environmentally sensitive areas as well as beatification projects. Providing well maintained play fields, indoor facilities and clean parks along with safety are vital components for award winning park services.
Essential certifications of park staff improve the quality and effectiveness of our public service. Certifications include CDL licensed drivers, Certified Soil and Erosion Specialist, Pesticide Certification, Certified Playground Inspectors, Red Cross CPR-First Aid and graduates from Georgia Recreation and Park Association Maintenance Management School.
