The HCPL Athletic Division offers youth sports for boy and girls ages 7 to 16 in conjunction with our county Youth Sports Associations-Booster Clubs. We offer tackle football, basketball, baseball, softball, and cheerleading. Along with our regular scheduled games, we offer end of the season county tournaments and State/Region Wide All Stars tournaments through Georgia Recreation & Parks Association and Dizzy Dean Baseball & Softball Association. We also offer sports camps and Special Olympics events and competitions.
The HCPL Athletic Division is operated by two full time staff, 8 part time staff and a numerous number of sports officials. We also work in conjunction with the South Hall and East Hall Community Centers to collaborate the county sports needs. We have several sports facilities throughout the county that we own and operate for each sports season.
The Athletic Division strives to continually develop and deliver quality youth sports programs, in accordance to national trends and standards; providing participants with fun, safe and challenging leisure experiences, which improve physical fitness, encourage social interaction, and stimulate the mind.
