The 7th Annual Spring Chicken Festival is in downtown Gainesville on Saturday, April 30, from 10am – 4pm. Unlimited sampling will be provided by the cook teams for the public to do their own judging and choose a “People’s Choice” award. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under 10. Children under 5 are free!
The cook-off will take place in the downtown parking lot at the corner of Spring and Main Streets and in the Hall County Courthouse Annex parking lot.
The festival will also include a parade, the Rubber ChickEkiden, a Chicken Feathers Quilt Show in the Georgia Mountains Center and Children’s Activities in Roosevelt Square provided by the Interactive Neighborhood for Kids.
Proceeds from the event benefit Keep Hall Beautiful’s Tree Replacement Fund and Environmental Education Programs. For more information please call Cindy Reed 770-530-0040.
