Law Library

The Law Library serves the courts, bar association and litigants in Hall County for all research needs. The library has approximately 7,100 volumes and includes State and Federal law. The library also houses CDROMs with popular legal research sites, and subscribes to the most popular legal research publications.

With the completion of the new County courthouse in 2002, a Virtual Law Library was established on the 2nd floor. It contains three computers connected to the Lexis Nexis online legal research site. The Virtual Law Library also contains a set of the official Code of Georgia Annotated, and approximately 250 other hard-bound volumes.

On April 28, 2004, the Law Library was renamed for attorney Robert Andrews who sponsored legislation in 1970 to fund a law library in Hall County. The library is now know as "The Robert E. Andrews Hall County Law Library" in honor of Mr. Andrews.

The library is a revenue generating activity. There is a $5.00 fee for all cases filed in Superior Court, State Court and Probate Court that goes into the library fund, as well as a charge of $.25 for copies made by customers.

Open Monday through Friday: 8:30am - 12:00pm
  1:00pm - 5:00pm
