District 3 Commissioner Scott Gibbs, a Hall County native, began his first term on the Hall County Board of Commissioners in January 2011. With a bachelor's degree from North Georgia College & State University in finance and accounting and numerous years of experience in municipal infrastructure projects, Commissioner Gibbs is dedicated to improving the efficiency of the county's current projects as well as planning for future road, sewer and water projects that will encourage economic growth in our community.
Commissioner Gibbs has goals that include striving to keep Hall County property taxes low while maintaining high-quality services, fostering good relationships with Hall's municipalities and planning for the County's future water and sewer needs in a fiscally responsible manner. In the spirit of an open government, he encourages residents to call him with questions or comments.
Commissioner Gibbs has been the owner and operator of Gibbs Grading for 20 years. He and his wife Jennifer are the proud parents of a son, David.
