This battalion, or group of stations, protects the southern portion of Hall County comprising seven fire stations. Each of these stations houses a fire engine and advanced life support ambulance except Station 14 which has an advanced life support engine. In addition to these units, Station 4 houses a 75' ladder truck, and Station 5 also serves as Battalion 2 headquarters.

Hall County Fire Station 1

Fire Station 1 was built in 1973 with fire district bond money when the County Fire Department was initially created. This station was initially headquarters and served the department until headquarters was moved to Station 7. The current staffing for Station 1 is 5 people. They cover an area from Gainesville south on Highway 129.

Fire Station 4 was built in 1973 with fire district bond money when the County Fire Department was initially created. This station was completely remodeled adding a third bay for a ladder truck in 1998. The current staffing for Station 4 is 7 people. They cover an area from Gainesville west out Highway 369.

Hall County Fire Station 5

Fire Station 5 was built in 1973 with fire district bond money when the County Fire Department was initially created. This station has been relocated and replaced in 2006 from it's former location. The current staffing for Station 5 is 5 people. They cover an area from Oakwood south on Atlanta Hwy.

Fire Station 12 was built in 2000 with money from SPLOST IV. This station was opened on the 30th anniversary (December 14, 1970) of the creation of the Hall County Fire Department. The current staffing for station 12 is usually a staff of 7 people.
