This battalion, or group of stations, protects the northern portion of Hall County comprising eight fire stations and 2 separate medical response units located at Gainesville City Stations 1 and 2. Each of these stations houses a fire engine and advanced life support ambulance. In addition to these units, Station 2 houses a water tanker, and Station 7 houses a heavy rescue truck and serves as Battalion 1 headquarters.

Built in 2008 with SPLOST V funds, Station 2 was relocated to better serve the citizens of North Hall. The current staffing for Station 2 is usually a staff of 6 people. They cover an area from Quillians Corner north on 129.

- 1997 500 GPM Tanker with 1800 gallon tank

Hall County Fire Station 3

Fire station 3 was built in 1973 with fire district bond money when the County Fire Department was initially created. This station is projected to be relocated. The current staffing for station 3 is usually a staff of 6 people. They cover the Price Road/Thompson Bridge Road area.

Fire station 6 was relocated in a new building in 1990 from downtown Lula where it had been housed since the County Fire Department was initially created. The current staffing for Station 6 is usually a staff of 4 people. They cover the area from Lula and north to the County line.
