Hall County maintains top-of-the-line equipment and courteous, professional pre-hospital emergency medical care to the citizens and visitors of Hall County, Georgia. Hall County Fire Services operates a fleet of fourteen primary Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances. These units are Freightliner FL-60 medium-duty ambulances manned by highly trained and certified Paramedics and EMTs.

All of our Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances utilize:
- 12 Lead EKG Program
- Zoll "M" Series 12-lead monitor/defibrillators
- Computerized pre-hospital patient care reports
- In-house pharmacy operations

Dr. Andy Ball, M.D.
Dr. Andy Ball is a full-time emergency physician, residency trained and Board certified in emergency medicine, with specialized training in prehospital care and aeromedical transport. He is also an active member of the National Association of EMS Physicians and a former flight physician and aeromedical transport medical director. As medical director of Hall County's EMS system, Dr. Ball is responsible for medical oversight for prehospital care delivered to the citizens and visitors of Hall County.
Dr. Ball's service with the Hall County Fire Department began in 1988 as a volunteer firefighter, and he has served in both the Fire and EMS arms of the department since. Continued field service is allowing him to live his dream of being both a doctor and a firefighter.
