Judge Clint G. Bearden has served as a Superior Court Judge for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit since his appointment by Governor Nathan Deal on January 4, 2018. Previously, Bearden served as a Magistrate Judge of the Dawson County Magistrate Court and maintained a general law practice.

Judge Bearden received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. Additionally, in connection with professional leadership development opportunities, Judge Bearden is a graduate of the Georgia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy, Leadership Dawson, and has currently been selected to participate in Leadership Hall and the Miller Leadership Academy’s inaugural class.

Judge Bearden is active member of Rotary, the Chambers of Commerce in Hall and Dawson Counties, and serves as an advisory member to the United Way of Dawson County and the Len Foote Hike Inn Lodge. He is a former Vice Chairman of the Lake Lanier Islands Development Authority, as appointed by the Governor of Georgia. Professionally, he is a member of the American Bar Association, the Georgia Bar Association, where he serves on the Long Range Planning Committee, and the Northeastern Judicial Circuit Bar Association. 

Judge Bearden is a lifelong resident of the Northeastern Judicial Circuit and graduated from Dawson County High School. He is married to Jamey Castleberry Bearden and they have four children.
