You can now renew your ongoing business license securely online using a credit or debit card. To use this optional payment method you will need your license number, and your credit or debit card number.
If your business requires a State license, you may pay your renewal here, but you must mail a copy of your State license to us in order to receive your renewal.
Your license number is shown on your renewal notice (see image below).
A convenience fee of $2.50 (USD) will apply for online payments. This fee is collected by Hall County to offset payment processing fees paid to the bank(s). Credit/Debit cards accepted are VISA®, MASTERCARD®, and DISCOVER® in US dollars (USD).
License renewals may also be paid in our office at 440 Prior Street SE, Gainesville, 30501 or by mail to P.O. Box 1435, Gainesville, GA 30503.
Hall County does not collect personal or financial information through the payment interface, and abides by all provisions of the Privacy Policy.
If you believe an error or adjustment needs to be addressed, you may contact us at 770-531-6815, or visit the office in person. Every effort will be made to address your concerns prior to payment.
Use of the online payment portal requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher with Javascript enabled. Third-party security software/firewalls or custom browser security option settings may interfere with this payment process. If you have problems completing your payments online, you may try temporarily disabling your personal security/firewall software and returning Internet Explorer security settings to default.

If you are paying your renewal fee after April 1, view this chart to determine the total due including any late fees or penalties. Business Licenses will only be issued when the correct amount due is submitted.
