A Business License is required for any business in Hall County, no matter how large or small, whether operated from your home or a commercial location. Licenses must be renewed January 1 each year. Renewal is available online.
A license gives your business the legitimacy and stability needed to attract customers and investors. A licensed business may protect owners from certain liability, and it enables you to file your business taxes separate from your personal taxes. The Hall County Business License staff is happy to assist you in taking this important step in the life of your business.
How to apply for a new license
For general Business License information, which is public record, visit the Business License office at 440 Prior St., Gainesville, or subscribe to receive email reports.
