Hall County now accepts online payments. The current rate is $42.00/month for sewer service.

Q: "Can I Pay More Than One Month At A Time?"

A: Yes, you will have a zero balance on your bill for that month showing that your credit was applied to that months invoice.

We do not offer a discount for paying in advance.

Q: "What Happens If The Bank Says My Funds Are Not Available?"

A: We will contact you by mail in order for you to arrange payment in the form of a money order or cashers check to avoid any penalties and late fees. There will also be a $30.00 returned check charge due at that time also.

Q: "Transfer of Service"

A: If you have recently purchased a new home or bought a pre-existing home please contact the Sewer Department at 770-531-5182 or by email to set up service in your name. This information will also be available when you set up your water service with the City of Gainesville Public Utilities.

Q: "Rental Property"

A: When a rental property is vacant, the owner is responsible for the sewer bill. Please call 770-531-5182 to transfer the service.
