2007 Property Reappraisals

2007 is a reappraisal year for Hall County. State law requires that all taxable real property be updated by the Property Assessor to it's current market value. New appraisals will be reflected in 2007 tax statements, mailed in the fall.

Some 80% to 90% of properties in Hall County will be re-evaluated this year. The average valuation will increase 14%, primarily due to increase in prices of property sold.

Appraisal notices will arrive in the mail mid-to-late April, with an explanation of the valuation.

Appeal of an appraisal must be made in writing within 30 days of the mailing of your appraisal notice. If you miss the deadline, your rights to all further appeals are forfeited. For more information, call the APPRAISAL HOTLINE (678-859-3029).
