Contractor to Furnish & Install Tile & Wallcoverings for the Hall County Courthouse Annex Renovation

After the time and in a room at place noted above, the bids for each commodity will be publicly opened and read. No extension of the bidding period will be made unless specifically authorized by a formal written addendum released by this office.

Hall County Board of Commissioners are soliciting bids from qualified companies for furnishing and completely installing Tile and Wallcoverings for Hall County’s new Courthouse Annex Renovation located at 116 Spring Street, Gainesville, GA 30501.

There is no charge to receive a copy of all documents, changes, and updates for this bid. Copies of bidding documents may be requested via the Hall County web site: then select the bid titled ‘Contractor to Furnish and Install Tile and Wallcovering for the Hall County Courthouse Annex Renovation’, click on ‘Request a Bid Package’, fill out the requested information, click ‘Submit’, and this will send an automatic request to our office. Additional copies of bidding documents may also be obtained at the Office of Purchasing, 2875 Browns Bridge Road, 4th Floor, Gainesville, GA 30504. This is the only official release site for this Invitation for Bid or any addenda that may be issued for the same. Applications for documents should be filed promptly with the Purchasing Division.

A Bid Bond and Payment/Performance Bonds will not be required for this project.

The successful bidders shall provide insurance in the amount of at least one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) as required by Paragraph 18 of the “Terms and Conditions” of these documents.

Firms should submit six (6) copies of the bid; one (1) marked as “Original’ and five (5) marked as “Copy”. Your submittal must have a signature in its ‘original’ form. Failure to sign your bid in the proper space provided on Part II of the Bidder’s Response will force your bid to be declared as “Non-Responsive” and not considered for award.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after time has been called on the date of opening.

All bids will be evaluated in accordance with applicable Hall County rules, regulations and laws. Hall County does not discriminate against any person because of race, color, religion, national origin, or handicap in employment or service provided

The written proposal documents supersede any verbal or written prior communications between the parties. The County reserves the right to retain all proposals submitted and use any idea(s) in a proposal regardless of whether that proposal is selected. The Board of Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or part, to waive technicalities and informalities or to select any bidder to complete the described Work. Award of Contract will not be solely based on low bid, but also on quality, references and other subjective criteria as the County may deem necessary and as the County may determine at its sole discretion. The Undersigned Bidder expressly understands that his proposal may be rejected by the County for any reason without liability on part of the County to the Undersigned Bidder.
