Avita Community Partners, formerly Georgia Mountains Community Services, is a public agency formed by the 1993 Georgia Legislature to serve persons experiencing the disabling effects of mental illness, developmental disabilities or addictive diseases.
At Avita Community Partners, our philosophy is simple... you come first. We offer an array of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities programs that assist adults, children, adolescents, and families affected by a mental illness, emotional disorder, addictive disease, and/or developmental disability. Avita serves the fast-growing and ever-changing 13 counties of the Northeast Georgia region.
