Real Estate Division

About the Division
The Real Estate division records all land transactions for Hall County. The records begin in the year 1819 and go through the current year. Document can be searched in the indexes by year and name. Land plats are recorded in this division and are indexed by years under the name of the person that hired the surveyor.

Uniform Commercial Code Records

Uniform Commercial Code records can be found and filed here and electronically filed through the Georgia Superior Court Clerks Cooperative Authority. Uniform Commercial Codes are liens placed on personal property used as collateral, such as liens on boats, TVs, computers, and items in a business inventory.

General Execution Dockets
General Execution Dockets are found in this division. These dockets contain liens placed against an individual including hospital liens, federal and Georgia income tax liens, pending suits, Preliminary Notice of Lien Rights, and Materialman's Liens.

Directions to the Division
Please note that the front entrance to the division is locked. There are 2 side entrances to the Real Estate Division located in the basement of the courthouse annex:
  • Kenyon plaza entrance (between the courthouse and the annex)
  • Handicap ramp entrance on the Main Street side of the building
