Processing Personnel & Position Changes

This class is offered Tuesday, September 30 and begins at 2 p.m. Participants in this short, informative course will focus on the administrative steps taken to bring newly hired employees to work, and making changes in personnel and positions. Information will cover the necessary paperwork and requirements of the newly hired employee, as well as the responsibilities of the department. Information will also cover the Personnel Action form, when it is needed, how to complete the form, and when changes in status or employment require PA forms or other necessary forms. Also included will be processing changes in positions and budget considerations. This course is beneficial for supervisors, administrative secretaries, or other staff members who communicate with new hires, or may be required to maintain Personnel Action forms, position control, or other employment records.
